By 6 pm on October 29, the typhoon left 20 people dead, 42 missing and 51 others injuries. It also damaged over 90,000 houses, 31 agencies’ headquarters in Quang Nam Province and 50 schools in Danang City and Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces.

The rescue force is seeking missing people in Quang Nam following Storm Molave.
By 7 pm on Thursday, up to 718 communes faced power cuts, particularly in Quang Tri, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces. Meanwhile, 106 electric pylons were ruined.
Storm Molave has sunk 13 fishing boats in Quang Nam, Binh Dinh, Binh Thuan and Phu Yen provinces. Among those, 26 people on two Binh Dinh fishing boats have been remained unaccounted for.
The Ministry of National Defense has sent three ships and seaplanes for the rescue.
The typhoon made landfall into localities from Danang City to Phu Yen provinces in the central region of Vietnam on Wednesday morning and then on the same day it weakened into a low tropical pressure.
