Quang Tri people struggle to clear mud after flooding

Many households in the central province of Quang Tri are clogged with thick mud following the severe inundation for days.

 

Nguyen Van Hieu from Dong Ha City said that the floodwater has gone down, leaving a layer of wet mud in his village. The mud is up to more than 10 cm thick. 

Local residents had to use different tools such as rakes to clean the mud. It would take people some days to clear mud.
