The scene of the accident
A truck was running on Nam Hai Van Road when it hit a passenger bus which was running in the opposite direction. The passenger bus was carrying 40 people at the time.
Two people died on the spot and 20 others were injured as both vehicles were severely damaged. The scene was blocked off for investigation.
At 6.30 am, the police reopened the road for traffic. The incident is under investigation.
