Y Ty in ripening rice season

The terraced rice fields in the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai’s Y Ty Commune are ripening, creating a stunning landscape to attract tourists.

 

Y Ty is often covered in mist as the locality is located at the altitude of 2,000 measures. 

Every September, the fields are turned into yellow as rice ripens, waiting for being harvested. 

 

The fields have become a special tourist attraction.

 

The fields in Y Ty’s neighbouring communes of A Mu Sung, A Lu and Ngai Thau communes are also beautiful.
