According to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Gia Binh from a consultation and treatment group for severe Covid-19 patients, at present, around 30 Covid-19 cases in Vietnam are in critical condition, including 14 on the edge of death.

All of Covid-19-related deaths in Vietnam suffered severe underlying health problems such as end-stage chronic kidney failure, chemically unresponsive end-stage blood cancer, type 2 diabetes, sepsis, pneumonia, and multi-organ failure.
