One more person tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 in Hanoi

Hanoi Department of Health announced that another person has been tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 and issued an urgent notice to customers at Loc Vung Beer Restaurant in Thanh Tri District.

Loc Vung Beer Restaurant

The new patient is a 63-year-old man from Hai Duong Province. He felt tired and had coughing symptom on July 31 and he went to the Hospital 108 on August 8. Afterwards, he went to his daughter's home who is the owner of Loc Vung Beer Restaurant in Hanoi's Thanh Tri District.

On August 9, he was admitted to Thanh Nhan Hospital due to acute pneumonia. The initial test came back negative. Thanh Nhan Hospital and Hanoi CDC later both carried out another test on the same day and the results came back positive.

Hanoi Department of Health asked anyone who had come to Loc Vung Beer Restaurant to contact with the local health agency for advice and support.
