The Ministry of Health confirmed no new Covid-19 patients on Monday morning, marking the first morning without Covid-19 patient increase since July 25 when the Danang outbreak started.

As of 6 am Monday morning, Vietnam had registered 841 Covid-19 cases, including 317 from abroad and 395 released from hospital following their full recovery.

The Health Ministry confirmed no new Covid-19 patients on Monday morning.

Over the past 18 days, the country has reported up to 384 cases connected to the pandemic outbreak in the central city of Danang, including 269 in Danang. The disease has spread to 14 cities and provinces, all linked to Danang.

The Danang Department of Health has defined 9,682 people who had come into close contact with Covid-19 patients in the city and more than 10,000 others who had contact with Covid-19 infections at varying levels.

The department has conducted 43,472 Covid-19 tests, including 40,075 being negative.

At present, 182,267 people are being put under quarantine in Vietnam.

Vietnam has seen 11 deaths related to Covid-19, all of them with underlying conditions.
