Among the latest patients, 26 are imported cases from Equatorial Guinea who were sent for medical quarantine upon arrival while 11 others are in Ho Chi Minh City and the central province of Quang Nam.
Patient 510 is a 57-year old woman residing in District 10, Ho Chi Minh City. She took care of her parents in Danang Hospital, Danang Oncology Hospital and Danang Hoan My Hospital from May-July, 2020.
Patients numbered from 511-516 are Vietnamese crew members working on a gas carrier ship which travelled to Qatar, India and Singapore. All of them were quarantined right after entering Vung Tau Port on July 18.
Patient 517 is a 55 year-old woman residing in Quang Ngai Province. She was hospitalized in Danang Hospital from June 29-July 22. On July 22, she was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
Patient 518 is a 61-year old woman in Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City. From July 19-23 she was a caregiver of a previously-announced COVID-19 patient (patient numbered 436).
Patient 519 is a 40-year old man in Hoi An, Quang Nam Province. On July 23, he was the caregiver of patient 428 in Da Nang Hospital.
Patient 520 is a 51-year old woman in Quang Nam Province. From July 20-24 she treated patients 433.
Patient 522 is a 67-year old man in Thang Binh, Quang Nam Province. From July 9-22, he was hospitalized in Danang Hospital.
Patient 523 is a 63-year old woman in Thang Binh, Quang Nam Province. She is the wife of patient 522. From July 9-22, she was taken care of by her husband in Danang Hospital.
Patient 524 is an 86-year old woman. She was treated at Danang Dermatology Hospital (from July 11-16), Binh An General Hospital (from July 18-27) and Quang Nam General Hospital (from July 27).
Patient 525 is a 90-year old man in Duy Xuyen, Quang Nam Province. He was hospitalized in Danang Hospital from July 13-20.
Patient 526 is a 50-year old man in Duy Xuyen, Quang Nam Province. From July 13-20, he was the caregiver of patient 525 in Danang Hospital.
Patients numbered from 527-546 are passengers on the flight VN6 returning from Equatorial Guinea and landing at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on July 29.
On July 31, four more Covid-19 patients were released from the Hanoi-based National Hospital of Tropical Diseases, raising the total cases being given the all-clear to 373, the committee said.
