This morning, July 2, four Covid-19 patients were released from the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi following their full recovery.

They are people who entered Vietnam from abroad and quarantined after arriving at local airports.

Dr Quach Duy Cuong from the hospital said that the patients showed mild symptoms so they only needed short treatment.

At present, the two last Covid-19 patients of the hospital are two children, with one of them testing negative for the virus for the first time.

After being discharged from hospital, the patients will take another 14-day quarantine to ensure safety.

Until now, 340 out of the country’s total number of 355 Covid-19 cases have recovered without a fatality.

By this morning, Vietnam had no Covid-19 community infections for 77 days.

The Ministry of Health has confirmed that an Indonesian man who came to work in Vietnam from Indonesia in March tested negative for Covid-19.
