The airport serves hundreds of flights with more than 60,000 passengers per day, mostly on domestic flights. The figures are even higher during weekends.

Between late June and July, the airport is expected to see a 20% rise in domestic flights, which is attributed to the higher travel demand.
To ensure the service quality, the airport has co-operated with airlines to help facilitate passengers’ check-in procedures and arranged more security staff to assist the police in traffic regulation.

The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on June 22 officially launched three new routes connecting Can Tho with Buon Ma Thuot City (Dak Lak Province), Vinh (Nghe An Province) and Hai Phong City.
The airline will also open a new route between Can Tho and Dat Lat cities with three round trip flights per week on July 2.
