Two more Covid-19 infection cases in Vietnam have been discharged from hospital, raising the country's total recovered patients to 319 or 96%, the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases reported today, June 10.

The two female patients, one aged 40 and the other aged 26, returned to Vietnam from Moscow. They landed at Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh Province on May 13. 

Right after arriving at the airport, the two who are from Haiphong City were sent to a quarantine site in the province.

They will undergo another 14-day quarantine after being released from hospital.

Vietnam has entered the 55th day without recording any new Covid-19 infection case in the community.

Meanwhile, the Covid-19-hit British pilot has continued witnessing considerable improvement in health. Despite serious lung damage, around 60% of his lungs have recovered. He is expected to stop using the ventilator soon.
