After clearing these six patients, there are now only six Covid-19 infection cases left at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases which has so far provided treatment for the largest number of patients in the country.
Two other Vietnamese patients were also released at the Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital, along with one 37-year-old British man at the Cu Chi Field Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City.
To date, 49 foreign patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 have recovered and been released from hospitals across the country. Patient 91, British pilot Stephen Cameron, is the last foreign patient who is being treated at the Cho Ray General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. The patient's condition has improved in recent days according to local doctors.
There are only 16 Covid-19 patients in Vietnam now, most of them in a stable condition. Of the 16 remaining patients, six have tested negative for the SARS-CoV-2 once and nine others have tested negative for at least twice.
