HCM City to organise group wedding for low-income workers

HCM City Communist Youth Union is receiving registration from May 19 to August 15 for a mass wedding ceremony for low-income workers.

The ceremony will be held on October 10. The event is held by the Youth Employee Assistance Centre to celebrate the 64th Vietnam Youth Federation (October 15) and 14th anniversary of the centre's foundation day (November 15).

Employees with disadvantaged backgrounds at industrial parks, offices, schools and firms in HCM City and neighbouring provinces will be given support for their wedding expenses including wedding rings, photos, wedding dresses and suits and other items.

This is an annual event held by the Youth Employee Assistance Centre since 2007. Over 1,000 couples have had their weddings planned and held.
