According to Nguyen Ngoc Quan, a member of the project, the two rice dispensers were launched from learning about the idea of a rice distributing machine to help needy people affected by Covid-19 in HCM City. The rice ATM in Nghia Tan Ward has received more than 20 tonnes of rice donated by many people. Some donors even hired trucks to transport rice to the site.
