The test kits can show results within 10 minutes using blood samples. The same product is used in South Korea.
The city’s health department has been assigned to arrange staff for the stations, including representatives from the police and military and medical staff.
The same day, the three first testing stations were installed at areas near Bach Mai Hospital which has suffered from a Covid-19 outbreak.
The other stations will be placed at areas which face high risk of infection.
Stations work round-the-clock.
Chung ordered the city’s Disease Control Centre to update the quick testing method for districts for the wide application in the coming time. The centre will be provided with 10 specialist cars for the work.
