Buses will only operate between 6 am to 8 pm, instead of 5 am to 10 pm.

According to Phuong, around 12,430 bus trips in the city will be cut per day.

All buses are required to have hand wash for passengers. The product is also offered free at some bus transit spots on streets such as Kim Ma and Hoang Quoc Viet.

On March 22, Hanoi authorities announced to slash the municipal bus trip rate by 16% for Covid-19 prevention.
