Hanoi streets deserted amid Covid-19 fear

Hanoi streets which are often busy and crowded have become deserted as many people choose to stay inside due to Covid-19 virus fears.

The number of Covid-19 patients has been increasing with four cases detected in Hanoi, so Hanoians are more cautious about going out.

The quiet atmosphere at O Cho Dua area on Wednesday morning.

A local policeman said that the number of vehicles in the area has sharply fallen since the first Covid-19 case was found in Hanoi last week.

Nga Tu Street which used to face traffic jams at rusk hours are now also quiet. 

Hanoi’s streets which used to attract many tourists are also in the same situation

Streets in the capital city are as quiet as like during the Tet Holiday.
