
Nguyen Hong Son, director of Military Hospital 175, receives the decision
Vinh praised the hospital for its achievements and contributions to the health sector. The Military Hospital 175 will be rotated to replace the Level-2 field hospital in South Sudan which is being operated by the Military Medical University. Vinh said that based on the experiences the doctors and nurses have gained from operating previous field hospitals, Military Hospital 175 must do better set even higher goals.
Nguyen Hong Son, director of Military Hospital 175, said their employees were taking a training course and would be ready to go to Africa in late 2020. 70 people have been taking medication and language training courses for the mission.
VNA reported that on this occasion, Vinh also appreciated other countries and international partners’ support for Vietnam during the building, training and deployment of its peacekeeping force for UN operations. Deputy head of the EU Delegation to Vietnam Axelle Nicaise congratulated the peacekeeping force of Vietnam on their achievements, which have helped promote the country’s stature and prestige in the international arena. She said the EU and Vietnam share the same wish to ensure regional and global security and peace.
