The incident occurred at around 4 am this morning, March 3, in District 12 when a truck which was transporting rice crashed into a container truck running in the same direction.
The scene of the accident
As a result, the truck cabin hit into the container vehicle's rear, leaving three people stuck inside the cabin.
It took local authorities up to nearly four hours to help take the three people from the cabin. However, they had died before being taken out.
The three included a father and son.
One person in the container truck was also injured.
The case resulted in the traffic congestion for kilometres at An Suong junction.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
