According to a report from Tan Son Nhat Airport, following a regulation on Coronavirus prevention, 286 passengers from 16 international flights had been denied entry to Vietnam by February 5.

"They included 218 passengers from a Cathay Pacific flight departing from Hong Kong to Ho Chi Minh City, 43 from Malaysia, 10 from Thailand, and four from Singapore," the report said, adding that they had all been carried back to their departing locations the same day.

The airport has asked airlines to carefully check passenger information, especially health and travel history before arriving in Vietnam.
