The costume, with around 2,000 light bulbs, will depict the town’s sparkling night space full of lanterns and its iconic Japanese Covered Bridge. It will compete at the contest’s category of traditional costume.
The dress Kieu Loan will wear at Miss Grand International 2019
The image of a dog and of a monkey of the Japanese Covered Bridge is included in the dress. Besides, the pair of dragons of Ong Pagoda and tile roofs of Hoi An houses are also decorated on the dress.
Kieu Loan, 19, born in Hoi An, is the first runner-up of Miss World Vietnam 2019. She is 1.70 metres tall and measures 80-61-95.

Kieu Loan is expected to go far and achieve a positive result whilst taking part in this year’s global pageant scheduled to held in Venezuela next month.
