Vietnam Airline Group starts selling Tet tickets

Vietnam Airlines Group, which consists of Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific and Vasco, have started selling air tickets for Tet holiday next year.

The airline group will offer nearly two million tickets for domestic flights, an increase of 250,000 tickets compared to the previous year. Vietnam Airlines and Vasco offer 1.4 million tickets while 600,000 tickets will come from Jetstar Pacific. Depending on the market demands, the group will offer more tickets for the Tet Holiday.

Most in-demand routes are Hanoi to HCM City, Vinh, Can Tho, and Phu Quoc. The other routes are HCM City to Danang, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Dong Hoi, Hue, Pleiku, Quy Nhon, Buon Ma Thuot, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc.

Customers were advised to buy tickets via official websites and agents to avoid frauds and overcharging.

Vietjet Air already started selling Tet tickets since August 15 for those who want to buy tickets early. The ticket prices start from VND199,000 (USD8.55) for HCM City to cities and provinces in the central region flights. Tickets for HCM City to northern cities and provinces will have prices start from VND900,000.

The tickets are set for flights from January 9 to February 10, 2020 to both domestic flights in Vietnam and international flights to Japan, Indonesia and South Korea.
