Construction sites worsen Hanoi traffic

Hanoi is home to a range of construction sites which have worsened the city’s traffic.

Pham Van Dong Street has seen more traffic congestion since Mai Dich-Nam Thang Long elevated road project was started. 

  

  

  

Xuan Thuy Street is in the same situation as Nhon-Hanoi Station metro project is being underway. Part of the street is zoned for the construction, affecting traffic. 

Part of Kim Ma Street has also been fenced for the metro project. 

  

  

The second phase of Vinh Tuy-Nga Tu So elevated street is being conducted, resulting in traffic jams for Truong Chinh Street which is divided into different small lanes with some being just 1.5 metres wide. 

  

Minh Khai Street has been hit by Vinh Tuy-Nga Tu So elevated road project. Traffic congestion sometimes happens until 8 pm.
