The incident occurred at around 5 am this morning on Tran Dang Ninh Street in Cau Giay District when Hanoi experienced heavy rains and strong winds.

The victim, Dang Anh Tuan, 32, lived in Vinh Phuc Ward, Ba Dinh District. To date, authorities have still not yet defined whether the tree had fallen before or at the time Tuan was driving his motorbike through.
Nguyen Duc Manh, deputy general director of Hanoi Green Tree Company, said that at 6 am this morning, the firm was informed of the case.
The case is still under investigation.
