Many violations found at the Ocean View Nha Trang Project

Tran Van Tho, deputy director of Khanh Hoa Department of Construction said they would propose and submit the demolition plan to the Khanh Hoa Province People's Committee.

40 out of 69 villas have been built at the Ocean View Nha Trang Project. However, violations that have been detected at 22 villas are height criteria and building density violations. The department has made reports and asked the investor to remove the offending floors of six under-construction villas and seven completed villas.

According to the regulations and registered information, the villas only have from one to three floors but in reality, many villas have five to 10 floors and the building density is extremely high.

In January 2018, the police in Khanh Hoa had started the prosecution against Nguyen Viet Hung, director of Thien Nhan II Company and investor of Ocean View Nha Trang Project, for fraud. Hung used the lands of the Ocean View Nha Trang as collateral to make bank loans and then continued selling the land to his customers.

Hung is currently on the run.
