Around five hectares of forest have been destroyed due to the flames. The cause of the blaze has not yet been defined.

According to Binh Dinh People’s Committee, communal chairmen will have to take responsibility for the outbreaks.

Earlier, raging blazes engulfed large sections of forests in the central provinces of Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Quang Binh, and Thua Thien-Hue.

Thousands of people were mobilised to contain the inferno, while many residents living in nearby areas had to evacuate.

Meanwhile, the hot weather with temperatures of up to 40 degrees centigrade has resulted in more risks of fire-related difficulties.
