Two pilots killed in military aircraft crash in Khanh Hoa

A military plane has crashed in the southern central province of Khanh Hoa, killing two pilots.

The scene of the accident

According to the Ministry of National Defense, the incident happened at around 9:10 am this morning, June 14, near Suoi Dau Lake in Cam Lam District.

The aircraft identified as the YAK-52 of Regiment 920 of the Air Force Officer Training School met the accident while returning the school after finishing the practice.

Senior Lieutenant Le Xuan Truong died at the scene while Sergeant Dao Van Long died on the way to a nearby hospital for the first aid.

Right after the case, representatives from local authorities and the Air Force Officer Training School came the crash site, located a fair distance from a residential area.

An investigation into the cause of incident is being conducted.
