Five people including two children were killed when a container truck crashed into a car in the southern province of Tay Ninh on Friday morning.

Vice head of the Tay Ninh Provincial Board for Traffic Safety, Ly Van Gi, said that the accident occurred at 6 am when a speeding container truck hit a car which was coming from the opposite direction on the National Road 22 in Trang Bang District.
The truck killed all five people in the car which was completely wrecked. The front of the truck was also seriously damaged.
All five people in the cars were family members including a couple, their mother and two children.
Police are further investigating the accident.
