Traffic is banned from many streets in HCM City's centre for fireworks displays on the evening of April 30.
Vehicles will be banned from some areas around the Saigon River Tunnel in Thu Thiem Ward, District 2 and Landmark Building in Vinhomes Center Park in Binh Thanh District according to the local Department of Transport.
All vehicles will be banned from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street in District 4 and four streets of Ton Duc Thang, Dong Khoi, Hai Trieu, and Ham Nghi in District 1.
During that time, vehicles will also be banned on Nguyen Huu Canh Street and some areas around the Vinhomes Center Park in Binh Thanh District.
People are also banned from parking or gathering on some bridges around the firework display, the department said.
