Thua Thien Hue provincial Border Guard Command reported on Friday evening that they had found a group of three British tourists at a waterfall some 500 metres from Highway 1A in Lang Co Town at 2 pm.

One of the three tourists, Christian Alwgn Hawitt, 19, had a serious face wound and broken legs, the Border Guard Command said. he was taken to Hoan My General Hospital in Danang City.

According to reports from local authorities, the three tourists, all 19, hired motorbikes to travel from Hue City to Hoi An Town. They stopped at the waterfall to swim and rest but one fell.
