The closure will be applied on the section from Hanoi to Dong Dang Station on Saturday from 8:00 am to 5 pm, instead of 12 pm to 7 pm as previously scheduled.

Vehicles of more than nine seats and weighing over 10 tonnes will be prohibited from travelling in both directions of the section from Hanoi to Bac Ninh Province along National Highway 18.

The North Korean leader will travel from Hanoi to Dong Dang Station and get the train back to his country after ending the second summit with US President Donald Trump.

Kim paid an official visit to Vietnam today.

He is scheduled to hold talks with Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on this afternoon, visit and lay wreaths at the Monument to War Heroes and Martyrs and visit the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh.
