North Korea's leader Kim Jong-un visits embassy in Hanoi

Chairman Kim Jong Un visited the embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) in Hanoi on the afternoon of February 26, hours after he arrived in Vietnam for his summit with US President Donald Trump.

Vietnamese police escort DPRK Chairman Kim Jong Un from the Melia Hotel where he stays to the DPRK embassy.

A car fleet carrying DPRK Chairman Kim Jong-un leaves Melia Hotel for the DPRK embassy at 5pm.

 

 

Security is tightened around the embassy.

 

Kim stays in the embassy for about 30 minutes.

The North Korean leader leaves after visiting the embassy.

The car fleet carries the leader back to the Melia Hotel at 6.15pm.
