A woman who is facing gastric cancer in the northern province of Nam Dinh's Hai Hau District is in desperate need of financial support to help care for her paralysed father.
Currently, Pham Thi Thuy Hang's gastric cancer is in critical condition with complications. She has faced reactions due to radiotherapy treatment given by K Hospital in Hanoi, so she was prescribed various medicines instead, but this also caused her white blood cell to fall sharply along with aplastic anaemia.
Hang taking care of her father
Although she is very weak, every day, the woman has to try to take care of her three-year-old daughter and his father who has been paralysed for six years.
Her little daughter does not understand her mother’s disease, and whenever she sees Hang face breathing difficulty, she often cries.
Neighbour Nguyen Van Quan said Hang’s family was among the poorest households in Hai Bac Commune. Their condition has become more difficult since she became sick.
Hang should have come to K Hospital for being re-examination on April 14, but, due to financial difficulties, she has still stayed at home until now.
