The incident happened on National Highway 27C at Son Thai Commune, Khanh Vinh District on April 26 while it was raining heavily.
The rock fall blocks Nha Trang-Da Lat road
According to General Department of Vietnam Road, luckily, the fall of the 400-cubic metre rock caused no loss of life.
The department has instructed a unit to clear the rock and the work is expected to be quickly completed.
The road has around 10 locations which face the latent risk of landslide, which are being fixed.
National Highway 27C is 120 kilometres long, connecting Nha Trang and Da Lat and traffic accidents are relatively common.
