Other prosecuted officials include former Danang Chairman for 2006-2011 term Tran Van Minh, former Danang Chairman for 2011-2014 Van Huu Chien for violating management regulations and causing loss to the state. Police also searched the houses of Minh and Chien on Wednesday morning.

Nguyen Dieu, former head of Danang Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Tran Van Toan, former deputy head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and Le Canh Duong, head of the Danang Department of Investment Promotion and Support, are prosecuted and banned from leaving their hometown.
On the same day, President Tran Dai Quang stripped the title of People's Police of Phan Huu Tuan and Nguyen Huu Bach.
The case is under investigation.
Phan Van Anh Vu is a real estate tycoon in Danang. He is chairman of the Bac Nam 79 Construction JSC, the Nova Bac Nam 79 JSC, and the Sunrise Bay Da Nang project, as well as a shareholder in many other projects in the central city.
Vu was first linked to land management issues in Danang in 2013, when the Government Inspectorate launched an inspection that found his companies responsible for multiple violations. However, the city’s government at the time immediately issued a reply, dismissing the conclusions by the Government Inspectorate as being unfounded.
On December 21, 2017, the police carried out a search for Vu’s house in Danang City for his alleged land management manipulation. A wanted notice was also issued after Vu was found to be missing from home. Singapore’s Immigration and Checkpoints Authority announced that Vu had been arrested for committing offences under the Immigration Act on December 28, 2017.
