A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese National Assembly, led by Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, left Hanoi on March 24 to attend the 138th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly (IPU-138) in Geneva, Switzerland, before an official visit to the Netherlands from March 24-30.

The Vietnamese delegation includes Chairman of the NA's Committee for External Affairs Nguyen Van Giau; General Secretary of the NA and Head of the NA Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc; Chairman of the NA’s Council for Ethnic Affairs Ha Ngoc Chien; Chairman of the NA's Committee for Science, Technology and the Environment Phan Xuan Dung; and Chairman of the NA’s Committee for Finance-Budget Nguyen Duc Hai.

The NA Chairwoman is also accompanied by the Secretaries of Party committees of Ca Mau, Lam Dong, Nam Dinh and Ben Tre provinces, as well as the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence, among others.
