Forbes magazine's list this year also sees the appearance of two other Vietnamese, Tran Ba Duong, chairman of Truong Hai Auto Corporation and Tran Dinh Long, chairman of Hoa Phat Corporation.

This is the 6th consecutive year Vuong has been named in the list with a net worth of USD4.3 billion, up USD1.9 billion increase against last year, being the world's 499th richest person this year.
Vuong first appeared in the list in 2013 with USD1.5 billion, as the 974th richest person.
This is the second time for VietJet Air CEO Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao has appeared on the list with a net worth USD3.1 billion, standing the 766th as the world richest person in the world in 2018.
Meanwhile, Duong and Long posted 1,339th and 1,756th position on this year’s list with a net worth of USD1.8 billion and USD1.3 billion respectively.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos topped this year’s list with USD112 billion, up USD39.2 billion from 2017. The runner-up was Bill Gates with USD90 billion.
This is the 32nd year Forbes magazine has launched its list of world's billionaires with a record number of 2,208 billionaires who own USD9.1 trillion in total, up 18% last year.
The US topped the list with the most billionaires with 585. It was followed by China with 476.
