The accident happened at the early morning of January 17 at the construction site of a parking lot on To Huu Street, Dai Mo Ward in Tu Liem District while 19 workers were on site. Among those, 12 were working on the scaffold with the remainder working beneath.
The scaffold collapses, killing three in Hanoi on January 17
Phung Quang Nhien, head of Dai Mo Ward’s police board, said that three were killed and three others were seriously injured in the accident. The injured have been hospitalised.
The cause of the accident is being investigated
The area where the incident occurred has been blocked for the inspection. The victims have not yet been identified.
