Vietnam tally up 3 golds at Challenge for Future Mathematicians

The young Vietnamese team bagged three gold, 11 silver, and 24 bronze medals at the Challenge for Future Mathematicians held in Malaysia from December 8-11.

Each of the 48 Vietnamese contestants received a medal thanks to their diligent preparations. The gold medalists were Hoang Truong Phuc from Thanh Xuan Junior Secondary School, Dang Cuong Thanh from Doan Thi Diem School, and Phan Tung Duong from Giang Vo Junior Secondary School.

Meanwhile, pupils from various primary and junior secondary schools in Hanoi were the winners of 11 silver and 24 bronze medals as well as consolation prizes.

The Challenge for Future Mathematicians is an international contest organised annually in alternating countries for pupils from grade 3 to 8. It aims to help contestants to discover the beauty of mathematics and experience new challenges alongside international friends.
