Products include those made from gold, silver, bronze, ceramic, crystal glass, stone, wood, rattan, bamboo, and silk, as well as brocade weaving, mosaics, and lacquer paintings, among others. Outstanding local handicraft products will also be present, such as Chu Dau pottery, Bat Trang pottery, brocade from ethnic minority groups, and Dong Ho paintings.
A tea space featuring top-quality tea from Thai Nguyen and Son La provinces will also be introduced together with Vietnamese tea culture.
Conferences and workshops on village tourism development and connections between supply and demand for agricultural products and craft villages will also take place.
The fair aims to attract investment in traditional craft villages and encourage tourism development in conjunction with rural handicrafts and enhance trade promotions for local products.
Director of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Center for Agriculture, Dao Van Ho, said the center will work with local departments of agriculture and rural development and quality management bureaus to ensure the quality of exhibited items at the fair and prevent trade fraud.
The fair will be held at the Exhibition Fair, Economic Transaction and Commercial Area, 489 Hoang Quoc Viet, Cau Giay District, Hanoi.
