Party, State leaders pay tribute to heroic martyrs

A delegation of top Vietnamese leaders laid wreaths and paid tribute to heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs in Ha Noi on July 27 on the 70th National War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day.

The leaders included Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, former Party General Secretaries Le Khai Phieu, Nong Duc Manh, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc, former State President Tran Duc Luong , National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen ThiKim Ngan, former NA Chairmen Nguyen Sinh Hung and Nguyen Sinh Hung, and President of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee Tran Thanh Man, and others.

Delegates expressed their gratitude to martyrs who bravely struggled and sacrificed their lives for the national liberation, independence and freedom and happiness of people.

They then paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum.
