An Australian tourist died of myocardial infarction on June 10 while he and his family were on holiday in Quang Ninh Province’s Ha Long City.
The provincial general hospital received Australian Dennis Paus Hendrik, 57, on the afternoon of June 10, who was moved to from Vinmec International General Hospital in Ha Long City.
He suffered from serious myocardial infarction with the symptoms of having difficulty breathing, chest pain and sweat.
Despite doctors’ efforts, the patient died after more than one hour of being treated.
He and his family came to Vietnam in late May this year for a holiday. They visited Ha Long City some days ago.
