The sketches portray vivid images of women in their daily life during the wars against French and American invaders. The contributing artists include Trần Văn Cẩn (1910-1994), Phan Kế An (1923), Huỳnh Văn Thuận (1921) and Nguyễn Tư Nghiêm (1922-2016).

The sketches are part of the Frontline collection, gathering 1,000 sketches made during the wars by 65 famed painters of Vietnam.

The museum is locates on 66 Nguyễn Thái Học Street.
