Twelve animal designations in effigy have been set up at Thong Nhat Park in Hanoi to welcome the Lunar New Year or Tet.
The animal designations include Rat, Ox, Tiger, Cat, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog and Pig.
Workers said that the majority of these animal designations will be displayed at the park, while the rest will be displayed at the Hoan Kiem Lake area.
The animals will be decorated by different kinds of flowers and bonsai trees.
Besides the 12 animal designations, workers also made some other kinds such as bees and butterflies
