US singer-songwriter Richard Marx will perform at the Christmas Concert 2016 in Hanoi today, December 19, alongside Vietnamese singers.
At the concert to be held at the Hanoi Opera House, Marx will take the stage alongside Vietnamese singers Thanh Lam and Tran Thu Ha. This is the first time Richard Marx has performed in Vietnam.

Born in 1963, Richard Marx was famous for many hit songs in the late 1980s and 1990s like Right Here Waiting, Endless Summer Nights, Satisfied, Too Late to Say Goodbye, Now and Forever, and Hazard.
His most popular song Right Here Waiting has attracted over 100 million views on YouTube, while the singer has sold over 30 million records to date.
Marx placed himself in the record books by being the first solo artist to have his first seven singles hit the Top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
