According to the province's chairman, Ho Quoc Dung, the whole province with 100 communes and wards have been submerged, including 50 deeply under water and 26 being isolated.
"Seven people have been killed in this flood in our province out of the total nine casualties reported so far in the central, south-central and Central Highlands regions," Dung told Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung during his visit to the province on Friday. "We've not yet have the total number in asset losses, but our infrastructure has been severely damaged, setting up back maybe a decade."
A report from the province showed that 1,000 households have been evacuated and 5,000 more are going to be relocated to ensure safety.

During a visit to check the rescue activities at flood-hit areas in Binh Dinh Province on Friday, deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung asked the Ministry of Industry and Trade to urgently sent 10 tonnes of dry provisions and 10 thousand bottles of water to support the flood victims.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance was asked to urgently send five tonnes of rice and over 1,000 buoys to local people.
"We have to try to timely send food and other necessities to the flood victims," Dung told the ministers of Finance, Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development and Transport who joined his trip to Binh Dinh. "Water, bread, instant noodles, and dry provisions should be priorities."
