Cold spell to hit northern region

A strong cold spell is forecast to come to the northern region in the next two days with temperatures in high mountainous areas as low as below 11 degrees Celsius.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the cold weather will affect northern localities, including Hanoi, and some central areas.

A strong cold spell is forecast to come to the northern region in the next two days 

From the evening of November 23 the northern region will experience a cold front with average temperatures of between 12-17 degrees Celsius.

High mountainous areas will see the temperatures of below 11 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures in Hanoi are set to decrease to between 15 and 16 degrees Celsius.

On November 23-24, some central localities, including Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Thua Thien-Hue will have rains and north-east monsoon.
