Ho Chi Minh City-based Tan Son Nhat International Airport has recently opened a sleep zone and a children’s play area.
The new areas are part of a USD60 million project to upgrade the international terminal.

Free sleep chairs
A new sleep zone in the international terminal with free sleep chairs and paid sleep pods was launched on October 26 together with a free play room for children.

20 lounge chairs are arranged in a 100-square-metre sleeping room will help passengers take a comfortable nap for free while waiting for flights. There is also a 40-square metre play room for children which is free of charge.

The international terminal has also launched 10 sleep pods which can fit an adult and one child aged below seven at fee of USD7 per hour.
