Up to 60 disabled couples participated in a group wedding party held in HCM City on October 20.
The annual event themed Happy Day was organised by the HCM City Vocational Education Association at the Him Lam Palace.
Couples participating in the wedding were supported with wedding clothing, rings, as well as make-ups, and photography services.
Many among the couples have been living with each other for more than 30 years, but had never had the chance to have a wedding.
They make a living working in factories, selling lottery tickets, collecting scrap and doing odd jobs.
Le Van Thang, 33, and Nguyen Thi Dep, 35, are both working for a garment company. They have lived with each other as a couple for many years and have a one-year old son.
The couple Quy and Anh both have pneumonia. They had to bring their medicines to the wedding.
