Thousands of people gathered to enjoy spectacular firework displays in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday night to celebrate the National Day

The high-range fireworks show took place from 9:00 pm to 9:15 pm at the border of District 2 near the Saigon River tunnel.
Many surrounding streets leading to the Saigon River tunnel including Ham Nghi, Ton Duc Thang, Vo Van Kiet saw a huge crowd of locals who tried to find a best place to watch the firework performance.
Vehicles were banned from entering the area, including waterway transport services near the Saigon River Tunnel, from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
This year, the cost of the performances are around VND1.45 billion (USD1,8 million) which was funded by private sponsors.
